He started SCC Development Company specializing in single tenant build-to-suit development which has transformed into multi-tenant shopping center developments across the United States.
To date, Scott has been involved in transactions which total over 1 billion in value. He has been directly involved in all facets of the real estate industry, which includes retail, office, industrial, multi-family, single family, hotel and hospitality.
Kelly is one of the principles of SCC Development Company, based in Austin, Texas. He began his real estate career with The Swearingen Company in Dallas in 1984. He subsequently moved to Austin in 1989 and went to work for the Trammell Crow Company.
In 1997, Kelly formed and headed up Trammell Crow's tenant representation division, and in 1999 was made principal. In 2001, Kelly joined Scott Deskins as principal in SCC Development Company.
Kelly's tenant representation list includes Target Corporation, Kohl's Department Stores, Brinker International (e.g. Chili's, On the Border, Macaroni Grill) Circuit City, CarMax, Rack Room Shoes and Office Max. He has also represented Crow Holdings, Developers Diversified, Dave Berndt Interests and Eastbourne Investments on the project leasing side, leasing over 2.5 million s.f. of retail space in the last 5 years.
A graduate of the University of Texas, Kelly received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts.
Steve has over 14 years in the Retail Real Estate Development industry, including the last 5 as Partner with SCC Development Company. His most recent projects have included the development of national drugstore chains, banks and restaurants. Prior to his time with SCC Development Company, Steve spent over 9 years in corporate real estate development for tenants including Kroger, Boston Market and Carlson Restaurants.
Steve is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance.
Adam joined SCC Development Company in 2006. His primary focus is on Retail Development in Central Texas, as well as securing development parcels for in-house development and pre-leasing those developments. Prior to joining SCC Development, Adam provided site selection services for his clients with Colliers Oxford Commercial, now Oxford International.
In 2005, Adam was the #1 producer for Colliers Oxford Commercial.
All partners are currently members of the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
